Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy

 

Fotolia gua sha instrument                                                           There are many forms of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).  Maybe you've heard of Graston, Gua Sha, ASTYM, or others.  They help break up fibrotic adhesions, or scar tissue, in the connective tissue.  You might be a little sore, but you will feel great relief.  IASTM has been shown to decrease overall rehab time, decrease the need to take anti-inflammatory medications, and can even resolve chronic conditions that were thought to be permanent.  Dr. Moriarty has helped many patients regain function and strength back through utilizing this therapy.

  • Saturday: 9-12 (every other Sat.)

  • Wednesday: 8-12 / 2-6:30  (No new patients after 11am)
